D Irl 26642 e; Wexford Robin

On a bright sunny day I was becoming enchanted by the replicas of ancient Irish homesteads dotted around the National Heritage Park, at Ferrycarrig, Co. Wexford. I became aware of an intenste chirriping, just above my head, and I looked up to investigate. Mr. Robin had kindly aken it upon himself to give me a briefing (in Robinish, of course!) about the simple old straw house I was looking at. Then he put in his special request – a photo of himself perched safely on the branch. I couldn’t possibly refuse, so I took a few pictures; we had a memorable (two-language) chat and then we went our separate ways.
